This ring is one of the most beautiful excursions that can be done on this mountains and the basin of the 13 lakes is certaintly the most picturesque place in the Germanasca Valley. Travelling along military mule tracks, still well preserved, the flat section alternates with ups and downs, where hills are gained and rocky barriers are overcome, reaching easy peaks. This gives you the opportunity to admire the mountains that surround the Prali basin and beyond.
Nearby there are several military buildings, the ‘Parrucchetti Admissions’, which during the Second World War served as logistical support for the border guard.
